The submission deadline for all posters is Friday, April 27th. If you plan to present a poster at this year's meeting, you will be asked to enter your poster's title, authors, and abstract during the online registration process. Plain text (.txt), rich text (.rtf), Adobe Acrobat (.pdf), and Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) are acceptable file formats for your abstract submission.
The maximum poster size is 48 inches wide x 36 inches tall and a Microsoft PowerPoint file is available for use as a poster template.
Students and postdocs who register for the meeting and submit a poster by Friday, April 20th will have their registration fee waived (fee increases to $50 after April 20th deadline).
During the registration process, students and postdocs with posters will be asked whether or not their posters should be considered for podium presentations. One student and one postdoc will be nominated by the GLDMDG steering committee to give oral 10-15 minute presentations of their poster contents. Each nominated presenter will receive a travel award of $250 to cover expenses. Posters must be submitted by Friday, April 20th to be considered for an award. Nominated presenters will be notified by a GLDMDG committee member no later than Friday, April 27th.
